TEEN Holiday Sewing Course: 3 days 29 -31 July 3-6pm

This afternoon course is specifically aimed at children aged 10-15 who are interested in sewing in a friendly studio with like minded tweets / teens.

Join our Summer Sewing 3 day course.  We will sew an accessory, item of clothing of choice, and a project off our free choice list so that each child creates something they really love! 🙂

Summer holidays should be about fun, adventures, learning new things and enjoying friends’ company and we love to bring all these things together in our extended holiday camps sewing all Summer long.

It is the best time of year to fully embrace sewing a variety of projects over a few days.  Our short courses allow us to do longer, more complex projects that a single day just can’t offer so children can make new friends, learn new sewing skills, build confidence and explore their own unique design ideas.

These brilliant life long skills offer children the opportunity to design and create unique projects using taught skills from threading machines, zip insertion, hemming, clothes making, buttonholes and toy making.

From giant whales and our favourite octopi to gorgeous summer dresses, shorts, and beach hats – we have endless projects for the long summer ahead so you can come along as many times as you like through the Summer and not repeat a project.

Our classes focus on small groups and high tutor : child ratio so that everyone feels welcomed and cared for and you don’t need any previous experience – all abilities welcome as we tailor projects to meet each individual’s needs and skill level.
