Adult One Day Beginner Dressmaking: PJ trousers

Date: 18 May 10-2pm

If you can thread up a machine and sew straight lines and are looking to start sewing clothes on a machine and just need help getting going (or need a refresher) then this class is perfect for you.  

Sew a pair of loose fitting, comfy pj trousers.

What you’ll learn: 

– understanding seam allowances & selvedge

– cutting and pinning techniques

– how to measure yourself accurately

– how to create rolled hems and finish seams

– inserting a waistband

What you’ll need to bring:

you will need 2.5 m of non directional print fabric. Cotton or cotton lawn would be ideal.

What is provided?
Expert tuition, all sewing machines, threads and equipment needed to complete the class and elastic for the waistband

Feel free to bring your own machine. It’s always great to learn on the machine that you will sew on at home to help your confidence and enable you to start sewing projects at home.  Machines must be electrically sound.
