Adult Next Step / Improvers Sewing (3 weeks) : 9, 16, 23 March 10-1pm

This course is for those who have completed our Beginners Sewing or who are reasonably confident sewists on a basic level and understand how to set up their machines.

This class runs for 3 hours each session across 3 weeks and will take you through a series of projects each week working on building your confidence and extending your range of skills. .
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN:

*quick recap on basic sewing skills & knowledge

*adding lining

* inserting a zip

* creating straps

* how to make & sew bias binding

* basic quilting skills using wadding

* creating buttonholes and sewing on buttons with the sewing machine

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

You will need to bring fabric of your choice to create the projects.  After booking, we will email you a comprehensive list of fabric and notions

WHAT’S INCLUDED

you will receive expert instruction from our experienced tutors, use of all our machines tools and threads. Tea & cookies.
